Previously, power plant construction was one of several business areas and was the responsibility of Oskar von Miller. A long-standing chairman of the AEG supervisory board once said that just as Schinkel gave every Berlin suburb a church, AEG provided a power station in every Berlin district. In this chronicle, a separate time slot is dedicated to the Moabit power station designed by the architect Franz Schwechten.
